It’s true! Multi-day events or series are possible through Find My Zen.
Our recommendation is that if you’ve never taught before, you first teach a one-time event to get your feet wet. Get comfortable, warm up to standing in front of a room of students, and use those who book as good research subjects to learn how you might structure an event.
What is a multi-day event or series?
Find My Zen launched with simply offering one-time events. We understand that both teachers and students often want to dive in deeper, so we’ve made it possible for hosts to list multi-day events and series - that is, events that run for more than one date. Students who sign up for a series commit to all the dates in the series.
I’m interested in listing a series, how do I go about doing this?
There are a few guidelines that all teachers should be aware of to ensure that all runs smoothly. Also, make sure NOT to confuse a series workshop with a recurring event that is a one-time event occurring on a regular schedule. If you expect those joining your series to attend all dates, just list the first date of the series and then add the included dates in the event description.
1) Include Event Dates Break-Down. When you submit an event, please (a) check the “series” box on the 1st step, and (b) make sure that you include the individual dates in the “Event Description” portion of your submission. Here’s how it should read:

By checking that your event is a series, we’ll automatically add some info to your event listing page to make it clear to students that they are signing up for the whole enchilada.
2) Provide an Interesting & Thorough Description. Make sure to clearly articulate what will be covered in the event series. You don’t need to describe each date in detail, but because Zenners will be committing more time and money to a series, it’s important to let them know exactly what they’ll get after the series is over. One way you may do this is to give each date breakdown (as explained in #1 above) a title to show what will be covered.
3) Price Event in Total. When you list the price of your event in your submission, make sure to list the amount of the entire series… not individual dates.
How does the process for a teacher differ from teaching a one-time Find My Zen event?
There are a few ways that event series operates that differ from one-time events:
Registration Reminders. Find My Zen will send a reminder to all enrolled prior to the first event date - as we do with all events. However, no reminders will be sent from Find My Zen after the first date. Thus, it’s up to you how you stay in touch with and engage those who book. We recommend over-communicating, particularly if your event dates are more spread out!
Payment. We will issue you payment in full (i.e., for the entire series) within our normal payout window of the first date of the series.

What happens if I don’t host all my event dates?
We understand unforeseen circumstances come up that make it necessary to reschedule a date. If this is the case, it is your responsibility to notify those booked and make up the event date. If rescheduling is necessary, you must ensure that all are able to attend new dates. We recommend avoiding this if possible, as it can lead to a less than optimal student experience. If Dabble learns that not all dates were taught as promised, Find My Zen will charge the teacher the pro-rated portion of the event series - due within 15 days - and refund students accordingly.
